Best food and service within middle Tennessee!!!

One of the best restaurants in the area. Fresh seafood and an amazing number of options that are unique and flavorful. The staff is great and took good care of us. We go there several times a month.

I recently stopped here for lunch on my way home from the gym; I actually had no idea it was there until I drove by. At about 13:00 on a Friday, it was populated, but not overly crowded or loud. The restaurant has a nice vibe; it's a relaxing, coastal-seasonal eatery type of place, but it's not overdone. The music was a chill mix of Reggae and Indie Acoustic, set at a comfortable volume (which is a major win in my book). Julie, at the front counter, was very friendly and helpful; she explained any menu options that I was curious about, and offered both a meal discount and a rewards-membership bonus to me. I ordered Blackened Mahi Mahi fish tacos with Rosemary kettle chips. Everything was hot, well-cooked and quite tasty. I find talking about price rather redundant, since eating out always costs more; however, just for grins, comparing the portions and prices of TSP with (a certain other local seafood restaurant), there's no contest. TL;DR This is a gem of a restaurant, and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a chill, friendly atmosphere to enjoy good seafood.

Called ahead to see if they had alligator filet. The person was super helpful and polite. He offered to hold it for me as well. When I went to the store it was super clean. They had exactly what I needed. They offer food. The only hiccup I had was they have the old address listed and I went to the wrong place first. Besides that I definitely will be doing business here again. I do love me some gator.

There honestly isn’t the need to go out to fancy restaurants because The Seafood Shop prepares out of this world made to order meals that are both plentiful but most importantly SUPER DELICIOUS! We had grilled Halibut with two sides the past two days that was cooked to perfection! Our compliments to the chef as it was honestly THE BEST Halibut we have EVER had…light and white and flaky delectable! Onion rings, waffle cut fries(extra crispy) and fried veggies as the sides garnished with lettuce leaf, huge tomato slice and a wedge of lemon…we couldn’t finish it all as the halibut portion and sides were so plentiful! And what’s incredible is that for two meals it costs only $47 including tax! We challenge anyone to find this kind of quality and value anywhere! Thanks to owner Colin and our new friend, Andrew, who made sure our orders were perfect we will continue to plan our meals around The Seafood Shop each and every day we are in the Hamptons. The Seafood Shop is a very small shop (only 10 minutes away from Wolffer Estate Vineyard), offering THE BESTTTTT OYSTERS we've everrrrr tasted in a long while! We got half a dozen of their Peconic Bay Oysters for $18. EVERYYYY SINGLE DOLLAR WAS SO WORTH IT! OMG! You guys! Y'all won't understand until y'all try it! We ate the oysters in the car, parked in their driveway! OMG! NEVERRRR had we tasted any oysters thissss oceanly-sweet! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! P.S. My husband saw the server threw out some oysters because they didn't look so good. Then he opened up some moreeee to make sure they were all fresh before packing them into our box! Forever grateful because thisssssssss was one of the biggest highlights during our trip in Long Island! It's a must visit evennnnn if you only have a stomach for a few oysters and clams!Hope to return soon!

This place is wonderful, the service is great they take time to explain items to you even though they are busy. The homemade food is awesome. I bought 2 lbs of shrimp and 4 lbs of mussels it was excellent.

Recently we moved back to Manchester, Tennessee, after many years. Of course, we wanted to explore the changes in our hometown and surrounding area! And that includes food options! Were we ever pleased when we wandered upon a stand-alone house in Tullahoma featuring seafood. Being our first visit, they gave us an amazing tasting tour! We fell in love with all the flavors and wanted to buy one of each! The seafood dips and chowder were amazing – prepared to perfection, warm, and ready to eat! They even provide a box of dipping chips! We also bought some jumbo shrimp which cooked up nicely on the grill that evening! They introduced us to their online rewards program (an app for your phone) and to their website. After two trips, we earned a $10 reward coupon! Each visit, they seem to feature different specials! This is a very interesting little shopping experience – well worth a visit!

We love The Seafood Place. Will try to add photos next time. We were too hungry to get photos. We highly recommend the Not the Gumbo, Seafood Cheese and Macaroni, Seafood Boil, and my favorite—the shrimp tacos. Everything is fresh. Besides the great quality of their food and service, they support local businesses. We can’t wait until their restaurant opens on Atlantic Street. We’ve heard the building will be exquisite. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious! I'm from Chicago and it was my first time here but it won't be my last! The staff was so helpful and polite. They gave us samples of the Mac and cheese, the chowder and 2 other things which were all unbelievably delicious . It was tough to make a dinner decision because everything sounded so good. I love cajun so I chose the Cajun shrimp. I can't even express how good it was! Thank you Seafood Place and see you next time I'm in town!

We stopped on the way home from Montauk on Wednesday and got a couple of pounds of fresh shucked lobster meat. It could not have been better!!!
Also bought two delicious fluke filets that were absolutely delicious. I can't recommend this establishment enough. The staff were also amazing! Wish we lived closer!!!

I have been meaning to write this for almost 2 years! If I could give more stars, I would. We rented a house in Sagaponack for our small family wedding in October 2020. We had originally gone with a private chef but it ultimately did not work out/wasn't what we wanted. A few short weeks before the wedding, we were scrambling a bit to find someone. By miracle, we stumbled upon the Seafood Shop and it was the best decision we could have made. Not only did they save us pretty last minute, but it was easy and not stressful at all. Alex Fausto came the day before our wedding to check out the house and to make sure everything was organized/we had everything we needed - he wanted to make sure it was perfect. The day of our wedding, Alex and his team came on time, prepared and were absolutely wonderful. The private chef we were originally going to use had told me that there wouldn't be time for us to go to the beach to take our sunset photos (something I really wanted!). Alex was the complete opposite - he told me he would work around whatever we wanted. Alex is extremely warm, always has a smile on his face and was so easy to work with. Alex and his team made our wedding so special and last but not least, the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We still talk about how amazing everything was and we go back to the Seafood Shop every summer now!

On our little sojourn to the Hamptons with so many places still shut down for the last of winter, we were fortunate enough to have this place open and available for us to get lunch. Good thing cuz I REALLY wanted to get a lobster roll from HERE !! I had bookmarked it, read the rave reviews, not only from Yelp, but this place is well known and well regarded, and all things pointed to us going HERE for lunch.Naturally, we got lobster rolls, and they were DELICIOUS. A huuuuuge amount of wonderful, tasty lobster, and at $26 a roll, I'm so glad they stuffed it with more than enough lobster. It also came with tasty cole slaw AND French fries. It was a FABULOUS and plentiful lunch!!! This place lives up to the hype. I thought it was just a little place for lobster rolls, but it's really a shop that carries all kinds of fish.... fresh fish, salads, and other things. I would come back here in a heartbeat. I'm just sad that Levain Bakery, 2 doors down, was closed the day we were here. That would have been perfect to have both on the same trip. But I digress..... cuz this Seafood Shop ROCKS !!!

We ordered a takeout order of 2 lb lobsters and asked for them to be steamed and cracked. The lobsters were perfectly prepared and tasted like they were out of this world. The worlds magical and heavenly come to mind. Best lobsters that I've ever eaten. We will happily come back again and again.
