What a jewel of a place for Tullahoma TN!

First time eating here and the meal was excellent. I ordered their grouper on a bed of smashed potatoes with brussel sprouts. Good size piece of grouper, barely able to finish it. I will be back to try other dishes.

The best seafood in our landlocked state! No competition in our surrounding area, hands down. Our group visited on a Wednesday night- we got there around 5 and had our choice of tables. It filled up quickly after that! We ordered the crab cake, shrimp and grits, gumbo, shrimp/crab/corn chowder (my favorite!), and a waygu burger. Everything was hot and beautifully prepared. Portion sizes were not skimpy either. We will definitely return to both the restaurant and also the seafood market as well!

First time visit, won't be my last. Almost feels like you are at an old Florida Raw Bar. Very casual cool, and very fresh.

This is definitely the ABSOLUTE BEST restaurant in Tulahoma!!!! The atmosphere and staff make this establishment unique, cozy and exquisite. The food is made fresh every day. I was shocked to learn there are NO microwaves on premises, but it's reflected in the food. The best seafood in Tennessee.

This was our family's first visit to celebrate my husband's birthday. The local seafood was, without a doubt, the best. I particularly enjoyed sampling the flight, which offered four distinct choices, allowing me to experience a variety of flavors. My husband ordered both the flight and the cod, both of which were delicious. My mother-in-law had the crab legs, and she found them to be sweet and perfectly cooked. We certainly plan to return for another meal. The cashier was exceptionally kind and helpful. This establishment is truly a must-try.

Coming from a big crab connoisseur this place has some of the best crab I’ve ever had!! Great service and atmosphere as well! I would highly recommend this place!

A Gem in Tullahoma! My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Seafood Place in Tullahoma, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared — truly some of the best seafood we’ve had in a long time. We ordered the shrimp and grits, crab cake, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and finished with both the key lime pie cheesecake and the turtle dessert. Every single dish was handcrafted with care and packed with incredible flavor. You can really taste the difference in the quality and attention they put into each plate. What also really made the experience stand out were the owners. They were so warm and welcoming, and it’s clear they genuinely care about every guest who walks through their doors. They work right alongside their staff, making sure everything runs smoothly and that everyone has a great time. That personal touch made the atmosphere feel special and inviting. Both the food and the service were excellent. If you’re anywhere near Tullahoma, do yourself a favor and stop by The Seafood Place — you won’t be disappointed!

The shrimp and grits were hands-down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly seasoned, creamy, and full of flavor. Every dish we tried was fresh, delicious, and made with love. It’s rare to find a place that combines amazing food, great service, and a warm local feel all in one, but this restaurant nails it. We’re so glad to have a spot like this in town, and we’ll definitely be back often. If you’re looking for a place to support local and enjoy a fantastic meal, this is it—highly recommend!

Everyone working was friendly, helpful and genuinely wanted to make sure you enjoyed your meal. Food was delicious and there was a ton of GF options, including all of the chowders. We had the shrimp, crab and corn one and it was divine. We also had the fried oysters, the crab fingers and the 'not the gumbo', which was especially delicious. We had no problem finding parking. The only bad thing is that we live in NY and will only be able to dream of this place, but if you are in the area do yourself a favor and stop in- you won't regret it!

Was my first time there, as soon as I walked in I was greeted and they explained how everything works and where the food comes from. I got the "not the gumbo" and the oyster Rockefeller with the fried crab fingers as an appetizer. The food was fantastic! Definitely will be coming back to try more things.

Hubby called Tuesday to see if they had Whole Catfish they said they could order them. They called today 2 days later that they have them. Purchased 12 beautiful very large fish cooked 3 this evening and vacuum packed the rest for 3 other meals 2 would have been more then enough for 3 people we have leftovers they are so large. I have to say you will not be disappointed. The best $58 for 8 lbs of fish!

I had the absolute best tuna salad I've ever had in my life... And I am a huge tuna salad person. I also had the best lobster bisque soup I've ever had there. It had chunks of the good side of the lobster. Not just the leftover crap... lol !

Great place to get fresh seafood, it's fresh every Tuesday and Thursday. Was a bit loud but very popular. Go early as they get busy.

I wanted to share my wonderful experience during my first visit to your restaurant. The fried shrimp was the best I've ever had, and the corn on the cob was outstanding. It was a pleasure to speak with the owner about the restaurant and the food. Her warmth and enthusiasm made the visit even more special. I would rate both the food and service with an A+. I will definitely be back soon!

We highly recommend the Not the Gumbo, Seafood Cheese and Macaroni, Seafood Boil, and my favorite—the shrimp tacos. Everything is fresh. Besides the great quality of their food and service, they support local businesses. We can’t wait until their restaurant opens on Atlantic Street. We’ve heard the building will be exquisite. You will not be disappointed.

We love The Seafood Place! Having lived in Florida for several years, we’ve missed fresh seafood in TN. The Seafood Place has grouper sandwiches and shrimp Po Boys as good, if not better, than any we’ve had in Florida. The Not the Gumbo is amazing!!

It was our first time at this restaurant. A party of 4. We went on Thurs for the $1 oysters and $5 beers. We got there a bit earlier than most and found seating right away. Service was quick and informative. We opted to have an open tab and ordered our drinks and oysters first. We then ordered shrimp and grits, salmon bites, baked salmon w rice, blackened grouper w Brussel sprouts, shrimp creole, baked beans and potato salad. We each enjoyed our ordered meals. Kimberly came by twice (once to help us with the menu and special fish for the evening) and then to ask how our meals were Honestly, the shrimp and grits is addictive!! My husband LOVED his Shrimp Creole! All in all it was pure enjoyment dining there. We will most certainly be back, especially when they have Clam Chowder on the menu! A new favorite...

I recently stopped here for lunch on my way home from the gym; I actually had no idea it was there until I drove by. At about 13:00 on a Friday, it was populated, but not overly crowded or loud. The restaurant has a nice vibe; it's a relaxing, coastal-seasonal eatery type of place, but it's not overdone. The music was a chill mix of Reggae and Indie Acoustic, set at a comfortable volume (which is a major win in my book). Julie, at the front counter, was very friendly and helpful; she explained any menu options that I was curious about, and offered both a meal discount and a rewards-membership bonus to me. I ordered Blackened Mahi Mahi fish tacos with Rosemary kettle chips. Everything was hot, well-cooked and quite tasty. I find talking about price rather redundant, since eating out always costs more; however, just for grins, comparing the portions and prices of TSP with (a certain other local seafood restaurant), there's no contest. TL;DR This is a gem of a restaurant, and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a chill, friendly atmosphere to enjoy good seafood.

Called ahead to see if they had alligator filet. The person was super helpful and polite. He offered to hold it for me as well. When I went to the store it was super clean. They had exactly what I needed. They offer food. The only hiccup I had was they have the old address listed and I went to the wrong place first. Besides that I definitely will be doing business here again. I do love me some gator.
